3 Ways to Wear Silver Boots | Look 3

Hello Lovelies. I feel like recently my blog posts have been very consistently outfit based. I want to try to mix it up a little but hey I think we can fit in one more this week eh? This is my final of three looks on how I style these shiny shiny metallic boots. Which are no less than £12 from Primark! And yes I have been wearing them just as much in real life I’m pleased to announce.

For today’s look I’ve went for a bit of a retro sporty vibe. Mostly because I bloody love this classic Adidas tee and might have to buy it in ALL the colours I can find. But that’s just how I roll… These cropped flares are also one of my staple pieces. I bought them last year so it’s likely they’re not available anymore but I’ll do my utmost to find something similar. If you’re a shortie like me and you wanna go for flares, cropped is the easy way out. Unless you enjoy wearing heels I suppose. I’ve thrown it all together with a faux fur coat as its gotten real chilly outside lately.

My hair has had a bit of a winter over haul too. I was getting so so bored growing it out so now I have a bit of a fringe. It gives me the illusion of looking kinda cool when I’m actually really not- perfect! Thoughts?

Two ways to wear a cropped printed jumpsuit- Part 2

floraljumpsuit floraljumpsuit3 floraljumpsuit6floraljumpsuit8floraljumpsuit7 floraljumpsuit9

Hello Lovelies! I know this post is supposed to be all about the jumpsuit but… First things first- some of you may have noticed that tonight is Bonfire Night. I’m super duper excited to go see some fireworks at our local display, which always turns out to be an amazing show. And maybe get some hot chocolate too for good measure. Once Bonfire Night is over the happiest time of year also begins (it’s Christmas time in case you’re wondering!) In my head anyway- I know not everyone is so full of Christmas cheer. Unfortunately.

But I suppose if you’ve come to this post you’re probably here for the clothes and not my yabbering…

This is one of the few outfits that I’ve uploaded in a lonnnnng time where I’m like you know what I really love this look. To begin with, I wasn’t sure whether the jumpsuit would look so great layered as its such a summery piece but I think it really works for Autumn. I also absolutely adore this belt and just wish I wore it more often. It was available in two colours when I bought it and I should’ve really went for both! These Primark booties are so old that I’m honestly surprised they’re still going. It seems  Primark’s quality is actually better than people give it credit for. And it’s great to have a bit more height because lets be honest as a little person (5ft3 eek!) its not often that I feel tall wearing culottes. And particularly not a jumpsuit with culottes.

Oversize Camel Coat

Hello Lovelies! And welcome to a very autumnal themed blog post. To be completely honest I’m so sick of hearing the word autumnal and I’m pretty sure you must be too. But I’m just gonna throw it out there one last time…

So as you can see I have got my hands on a perfect oversize camel coat recently. I’ve been keeping my eye out for one for a good few winters now but nothing has seemed like the ‘one’ – if that makes sense? Well it is true that good things come to those who wait and I snapped this one up from ASOS outlet for a stupidly good price. I guess it must be last years stock. I can be one of those people who goes for the most current, trend led pieces sometimes. So I’m feeling pretty pleased with myself for stepping away from my usual habits. Next stop, a little vintage shopping perhaps.

Anyway I’ve decided to keep it current with a bit of awkward layering which is so popular right now. Along with these awesome patchwork snakeskin booties. They’re actually really uncomfortable to walk in but look great at this time of year. I think it’s something about the orange leaves that make these tones pop in photos. Unfortunately WordPress has a habit of destroying the quality of my images and making them look all pixelated when I upload them. Which is driving me crazy. I’m no good when it comes to coding so it’s gonna take me a while to fix this issue I reckon! Enough of the tech talk though…

Polka dot

Hello Hello! And a happy Sunday to you where ever you are…

I’ve developed a bit of a love for polka dots in recent days. Yeah yeah I know I’m several months late to the party- as usual! I think we’ve all seen a bit of a polka dot print everywhere this summer. But its fine I’m confident I can make it work into Autumn. PLUS… These cami tops were like £6 in the Topshop sale! Who could say no? Not me that’s for sure. That’s why I bought one in each colour (oh dear- I’m turning into my mother..).

Anyways I also decided to dig out these super old trousers from somewhere in the back of my wardrobe. They go pretty well with a strappy top and used to be a firm favourite of mine many years back. As did MAC Heroine- who didn’t love purple lipstick for a while? Talking of which I should really buy a new one cos this has gotta be way past its sell by….

The Last Days of Summer

floraldress floraldress3 floraldress2floraldress5floraldress10floraldress7floraldress4floraldress9floraldress8floraldress11Dress- Forever 21 | Bomber Jacket– Topshop | Boots– Stone Fox | Bag- Mango | Sunglasses- H&M | Choker– ASOS | Human Hair Extensions– Irresistible Me

It’s sort of ironic that I decided to (cleverly) name this post The Last Days of Summer when we quite obviously took these outfit photos at night. But I did have to take this opportunity to express my disdain that Summer is slowly slipping away from us- sob!

I was pretty surprised that I had never done a post featuring this lovely little summer dress before as it’s one of those pieces I do actually wear often. Although I’ve got to admit this is the first time I’ve worn it with these knee high booties. But hey were getting towards that  trans seasonal dressing time of year so its all about mixing it up a bit. I do love a good summer dress and this is one of those colours that is really flattering on everyone even me with my super pale skin! I’m also liking clashing the delicate girly print with this sporty Topshop bomber.  I have been wearing it to death this Summer and  hope to continue well into the Autumn. Probably until it all gets far too cold and wet…

The bolo tie choker is one of my current obsessions.  ASOS has a great selection of black chokers right now and they’re a really inexpensive way to add a bit of interest to your outfit. I’m still loving my Irresistible Me hair extensions and the big super bouncy hair they give me. It’s really surprising how much more confident  I feel with long locks!

Hi Lovelies, I feel as though its been a very long time since I’ve done a proper outfit post so here we go… I’d actually had all the best intentions of photographing this little playsuit when I was away in sunny sunny Greece but the straps broke much to my horror! Luckily I’ve got them all sewn back on and stronger than ever- I reckon anyway.

The playsuit is a super cute off the shoulder number which I managed to pick up for less than £20- bargain! (On that note… is anyone else feeling very pleased about the fact that Boohoo is now available on Asos?) Its actually perfect for the height of summer as its really lightweight but sadly pretty see through. Something James noticed straight away.  I’ve added a few choice accessories including this awesome western belt and statement sunglasses along with these boyish patent booties. Now if we could just see some sun the look would be complete.
