//Vest-Topshop/ Dungarees- River Island/ Shoes- eBay//

Hey Guys!

Firstly I’d like to apologise for the quality of these photos- they’ve been slowly driving me insane! It’s been really terrible weather since yesterday so I haven’t had the chance to go out and take photos and obviously as illustrated above the lighting is terrible in my flat. I should probably learn to use my camera better if I’m realllly honest about it all.

Anyhow, I bought these shoes from eBay for £2 which I thought was pretty amazing despite them being a little scuffed and a size too small for me (it turns out they’re actually a better fit than they would be in a size 5- serendipity!). Basically I love them so much and I’m not really understanding why anyone would sell them but hey it’s lucky for me that they did! I’ve decided to prove to myself their everyday wear-ability and versatility by pairing them with my dungarees. I’m pretty sure I can get away with this- I don’t know how anyone else feels about it?
I’m getting a little bored of outfit posts right now, even though I have lots of ideas for them- all the time! I’m thinking of trying something different… DIY, baking, advice, reviews- I just don’t know. I’m just going through one of those uninspired phases!
Hope you’re having a wonderful day.

Happy Weekend Everyone!

I’ve been hankering after one of these headchains?- I’m not sure what the terminology is but Topshop referred to this as a headchain so… Anyway I popped in after work to get a cropped top to wear last night and they were all on sale (score!). I got this tribal one for £5.50 but can’t find it online. It’s a little difficult to put on to start with but once it was there it stayed in place all night. I’m determined to wear it as often as possible, when I don’t have a hat on- which isn’t very often! What can I say- I’m a massive head accessory obsessive oops. On the subject of obsession- my yellow obsession continues with this crop t shirt. I’m just really happy with the shade against my pale skin/ dark hair. I always considered yellow a colour for people with beautiful tanned skin so I’m feeling sort of liberated!

I’ve been enjoying the weekend so far; I went to Wagamamas for my dinner last night which was so good and luckily there’s a lot of gluten free choices. And seafood, I love seafood! I’m planning a rock n roll day of reorganizing my wardrobe, after being inspired by one of my favourite YouTubers Vivianna Does Makeup.  I know I shouldn’t find this exciting but it really is…

Have a lovely weekend what ever you’re up to!

I got my red dress on tonight

//Dress-Topshop/ Shirt- Urban Outfitters/ Hat-H&M/ Boots- New Look/ Sun Necklace- ASOS/ Shark tooth Necklace- Topshop//

Good Evening Everyone!

Last night we went for a little walk in the park and then into Aberdeen for some cocktails as we rarely get a night off together. One of my cocktails had actual real coco pops on it which I kind of found amazing! You can see some photos here on my Instagram as I wasn’t in the mood to drag out my big camera in the bar.

Of course we stopped for a few outfit pictures in the park (sorry Chris- he really does put up with a lot!). I appreciate that you can witness how actually translucently pale I am in direct sunlight in these pictures- it’s my Irish heritage I think. I bought this Topshop dress weeks ago in the sale for only £7 but this is the first time I’ve got a chance to wear it, but I must say what a bargain!

Tonight I’m involved in a Dexter binge (watch it if you haven’t, it’s amazing!!) so until next time!

Much Love, Eleanor xxx

Hi Everyone,

It’s a beautiful day in Scotland, which has cheered me up immensely!  I’m going to head out and enjoy the sunshine after this post and maybe find a part of Aberdeen I haven’t been to yet.  I’ve got today and tomorrow off which was kind of an accident but hey who doesn’t love an impromptu holiday?

I also had one of my friends up to visit this weekend, it was lovely to see a friendly face. We checked out some of Aberdeen’s bars and clubs; now bear in mind we’re from a city famous for it’s nightlife so we were a little disappointed by the clubbing- sorry! However we did find some awesome cocktail bars. One in particular had won awards for it’s drinks and had  a whole section of the menu dedicated to savoury cocktails, which I loved. I find most alcoholic drinks can be made a little sickly sometimes so I’ll definitely be visiting again for more vegetable based cocktails.

My parcel from H&M arrived over the weekend as well; which contained these trousers (I love that they look like pyjamas) and this floppy hat. I’ve been after a woolen floppy hat for a while and whilst I do like this one, I’m going to continue searching for one with a wider brim. I’m wearing Topshop’s Rio Rio lipstick- I bought this last week and absolutely adore it!

I hope you’re all enjoying this Summer day!

mermaid princess make up look

Hey Everyone!

So it’s a little late but I’ve just been hanging around the house tonight slowly creating a blog post as I know I won’t be doing any blogging this weekend. One of my besties is coming up to stay so I’m really excited and will most likely be too preoccupied to do anything productive.

I’ve been wanting to do a turquoise smoky eye for a while and I happened upon this Bourjois  palette up when I was in Boots last week. I know I won’t wear these colours very often in reality but it was on 3 for 2 and so only cost me about £4. I also spent £10 on bindis and face jewels from Claire’s Accessories (well worth the money- I don’t care what anyone says!). So I was able to create an aqua princess look.

The eyeshadow was pretty awful if I’m honest. I wasn’t massively disappointed as my expectations are never too high for ‘drugstore’ products anyway. When I opened it I was impressed that it came with a liner, but it just slides off the skin as does the powder. It also irritated my eyes so much I started crying! So if you’re on a high street/ drug store budget I would say try a different product.

Let me know what you think of the bindi trend- personally I’m loving it obviously!

Goodnight! Love Eleanor xxx
